At H&T we cover all aspects of the accountancy and business adviser professions for clients ranging from sole traders to large companies based in the UK and abroad. Trainees and staff will gain a wide variety of experience in audit, accountancy, tax and IT in a technologically advanced environment across an array of business sectors.
When it comes to professional examinations, we use one of the country’s leading specialist tutors. The results and progress of students are continually monitored. In addition, informal lectures are given by the partners which are designed to meet the specific needs of staff.

Training programme
- We are a training office for both Chartered and Chartered Certified accountancy students.
- Our training is conducted in conjunction with Mercia Group and Kaplan Financial, in order to provide students with the quality training required to progress through exams, and develop the required skills to perform in their role to the highest possible standard.
- Our qualified staff and those no longer studying attend regular internally run courses, as well as external CPD updates provided by Mercia Group. We actively encourage our qualified staff to continue to expand their knowledge. Additional tools are available to our team to facilitate this.
- Each student is allocated a mentor who looks after their training needs and takes a personal interest in their affairs.
